Sense of Belonging and Evidence Learning: A Focus Group Study

چکیده
A sense of belonging is a prerequisite for the professional and clinical success nursing students. The objective this study was to elucidate whether students’ participation in projects oriented toward translating knowledge into practice promoted assisted with their integration services. Fifteen students were distributed two focus groups, carried out by means semi-structured interview script using research question as starting point directing discussion more specific topics. Qualitative analysis followed predefined protocol. WebQDA® software used organize analyze findings, well increase rigor. design approved an ethics committee. Three categories related belongingness emerged from data analysis: integration, participation, collaborative work. Belongingness central element integrating services, it influenced education, motivation, quality experience. It also allowed them learn about evidence, communicate science, carry evidence-based practice, develop competencies.
